Did You Know?
In 1986, 49ers’ quarterback Joe Montana underwent low-back disc surgery. When he returned the next year, he decided to add chiropractic care to his health and fitness program.
I was treating several of the players at the time, but the future Hall-of-Famer was not yet a patient. With a referral from Roger Craig, I started working with Joe to keep him tuned up for the rest of that season and beyond—the adjustments even helped with his headaches!
In 2000, the Giants opened their new baseball stadium in downtown San Francisco. The Giants trainer, Marc Letendre, had a separate room built at the stadium where the players could receive chiropractic care.
It was awesome to show up at this new baseball park before a game and see all the excitement for the new venue and for this great sport. For me, it was exciting just to work with the players who needed care. I loved doing my part to keep them healthy and on the field.
